OPENING THE JARS
The jars can be hard to open if you do not know how to. They are vacuumed sealed, and you must release the vacuum first. Please read my instructions before you start.
You will need a blunt tipped table knife to do this. First start by tuning the jar upside down on your kitchen bench.
There are gaps round the lid where you can force the knife down between the tin lid and the glass (see picture below).
Carefully but forcefully prise the lid away from the jar. Try not to damage your knife. If at first, you don’t succeed just try the next gap in the lid. Keep trying just adding more pressure until you succeed.
Once you have released the vacuum quickly turn the jar right side up again as they are full of vinegar and will leak.
Voila! There you have it.
